2021年12月16日，沙特阿拉伯标准计量和质量组织（SASO）决定且发出公告表示，将原定于2022年1月5日实施的“电气和电子设备中有害物质限制”法规（ROHS）的强制实施日期推迟六个月，并分阶段对不同产品启动强制性的RoHS管控，具体时间参见下表：

自2022年6月起，上述产品在进入沙特阿拉伯市场之前，除满足本身技术法规要求之外，还必须满足有害物质限值要求并获得RoHS符合性证书。上述产品此前如已经获得符合性证书且证书现行有效，则必须声明产品符合法规中规定的有害物质限值要求，并将其纳入技术文档中保存，避免因此而造成出口受阻。
本法规旨在确定法规范围内的电子电器设备及其配件中有害物质的百分比，并确保供应商应遵守合格评定程序，以确保保护环境及消费者的健康和安全。
检测要求：
1,测试内容与欧盟Rohs 6项的内容类似；
2,测试标准参考IEC 62321，测试报告加CNAS标志；
3,测试报告需体现买家信息、商标、产品名、型号，需与对应申请的GCC/IECEE/PC/SC保持一致。
